The pencils we have available are standard #2 pencils with erasers that keep falling off. I would like some sets of drawing pencils to help them achieve the tones they need to effectively render and create realistic representations. The paper I would like is a heavier stock, capable of withstanding wet media like inks and acrylics, and offers them a chance to explore moving color around to enhance their visions. The students need exposure to various media, their strengths and limitations, and drawing and painting are fundamental in this art learning process. I want them to experiment, explore, and hopefully, fall in love with the process to create beautiful, expressive art.
