In my classroom there are two small rugs, however there are no other flexible seating options currently available. I've included two bean bag chairs and two portable lap desks to increase seating options. Many of my rambunctious students thrive when they can move around and fidget while they read or work in small groups. I believe these kinesthetic learners will benefit from increased seating options. As a first year teacher, my classroom library is mostly comprised of used and dated books. I'd love to increase my student's love of reading by bringing in popular books that they are familiar with, and most importantly, that they are excited about. Finally, I've included a few miscellaneous items for the gardening club as well as two student engagement tools. I know the group of students who faithfully work on their garden beds would be thrilled to have some tools and seeds to grow.
