High School is an exciting but challenging point in any child's life, especially when you live in a low-income neighborhood. What makes high school so challenging for my students is their lack of access to technology at home. When my students get home after school, they don't have access to the best technology, if any technology at all. As the world is changing, not having technology at home makes high school a lot more challenging than it really has to be. Having a Microsoft Surface Pro is the first step to allowing my students to have access to technology at home. With this Surface Pro students are going to be able to sign out the tablet and take it home for the night. By taking this home, students will be able to integrate their lives with technology outside the classroom. In addition, many of my students are more familiar with Apple products. Therefore, this Surface Pro will help accustom my students with the Microsoft Interface, which will prepare them for the outside world. Living in a digital world without technology is tough, but by funding this you can help my students bring technology to their homes!
