Earlier in the year, we completed a unit on character analysis using Louis Sachar's book, There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom, and my students LOVED it! I would like to use another one of Sachar's books, Sideways Stories from Wayside School, for a book club so we can compare similar themes in both stories because they are written by the same author. In order to do this, I need a class set of this text. My students are hungry readers, and I know this will be another text that they will devour. When we read and analyze this text together, we will grow our love of reading.

About my class
