My students have been working hard, creating exciting projects using computers. They end products are wonderful. The problem is that we can't afford to print the projects and show them off. It seems a simple thing, to be able to print off your work. At our school it is currently impossible. I purchased a color printer at the beginning of the year but I am unable to continue purchasing the ink required to support the students of my school. This is the first school I have ever worked at that does not provide the teachers with at least a black and white printer in their classroom. This makes it extremely difficult for students to get excited about creating projects.
