We are becoming members of a global society. We will learn more about this world through literacy by reading about three different communities. We will rotate through three novels. Students will complete an independent study of each novel over a semester. Each scholar will​ be responsible for reading based on a teacher created schedule. Each student will end the novel by creating a presentation using the digital format of their choice. The presentation will include a synopsis of the novel including a description of the community, characters and challenges. Also, students will also provide a written synopsis of the novel.
