Being located in Northern Michigan we have some of the darkest and clearest skies in the Midwest. My Earth and Space Science students love learning about our universe and making astronomical observations. Without a telescope they are limited to only naked eye observations. Although we are blessed with a great location for this kind of observing, my students are hungry for more. By donating to our project, you will provide the opportunity to fuel the fire of space exploration. Students will be able to see the wonders of our galaxy first hand not just as pictures off a computer screen.

About my class
