The storage shelf will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to organize their learning tools so that they can be stored in one place making it easy for the students to find and locate their individual learning tools. For example, each student will get their own bin and shelf space to put their workbook, pencil pouch, writing journal and math journal so that they easily grab it from their designated shelf spot. This will build responsibility and organizational skills that will last them a lifetime. Finding floor space to work, the shelving unit will provide the classroom environment to be used optimally allowing students to utilize the floor space to carry out activities such as reading with a friend or do a math activity with a friend without having to struggle for floor space.
