We go to multiple jazz festivals each year, and our adjudicators always mention how nice it would be if we had an upright string bass to get a more authentic jazz sound for our band. We have a standard electric bass, but it is not in my budget to purchase another instrument. Regular upright acoustic bass instruments are quite expensive, so getting the Stagg Upright acoustic bass would be a great alternative, and also far easier for middle school-size students to carry around to our performances. Even partial funding would be a great help to our program, and my bass player in particular would be grateful for your help!
