When students arrive at school in the morning and leave at the end of the day, they are getting soaked on rainy and snowy days. We have many disabled students in our school who are transported to and from school in wheelchairs. On rainy and snowy days, they are soaked by the time they get to their buses. In addition, we have staff members who are outside with students to direct them to their cars and buses. Teachers make sure students are getting to their cars and buses in a safe and timely manner. In inclement weather, teachers and aides need umbrellas as they get students to their destinations.
