I would like to give my students an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations in order to clarify and deepen understanding. Reading and practicing accountable Talk would be the perfect way to Speak the language of Science. I would also love to enhance 21 century skills and practices that can facilitate success in entering STEM careers and improve students performance on the Biology State exam. Reading Science Literacy will give students the ability to think critically about information they are receiving. As a class, we can reference back to the content while have open discussions. ACT and Biology State test scores will increase.
