Recently I have had the privilege of attending the amazing Get Your Teach On conference, where I learned about room transformations. Through these room transformations my students get to embrace a new environment while learning the skills needed. With these materials, students will become chefs cooking with fractions, rock stars striving to achieve their goals, and construction workers finding area and perimeter. After attending this conference it gave me so many ideas to help with getting my students excited about learning. I want to see my students more engaged by dressing up and working in the different environments I will provide.
