I have requested 12 Kindle Fire tablets to help enrich learning experiences for my students to truly engage the students with technology. Our district and students are still rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey. These tablets will help build our technology supply. I will not have to rely on students using their own phones in class which can be problematic. Kindle Fires will allow all my students to actively participate in meaningful and motivational activities. Kahoot! Quizizz, and Dreambox are just a few of the sites we will be able to access if this project is funded. After school tutoring could be individualized with Dreambox and Khan Academy. This would be extremely valuable to students who do not have access to technology at home.
