My students live in a rural area and attend a rural public school. The majority come from a variety of backgrounds, but mostly middle to lower class. Most of the students are Caucasian, with very few African American and Hispanic children. Their school and teachers are dedicated to providing them with hands on and visual learning experiences. Many of them have not and will not have the opportunity to do much traveling in the United States, much less the world. Therefore, we must ensure that our students experience all that the world has to offer.

About my class
