When I picture a dream classroom, I see students choosing where and how they want to learn. I believe flex seating is part of a dream classroom. I want to see my students learning on wobble chairs, yoga balls, and other seating options. Long gone are the days of rows and rows of traditional desks. Today's students are not learning in traditional ways so why shouldn't their learning environment reflect that as well? I specifically chose floor seats for my students as I believe they will enhance the learning environment. Flex seating has been proven time and time again to improve learning for students, specifically those with ADD or ADHD.
