These Chromebooks will give my students a chance at being successful at so many things! None of my students have computers at home. They are already lacking 21st Century skills that other children have. The Chromebooks will be used to help them in reading, writing, spelling and math. They will use websites to practice these skills. Some will reinforce learning English in the classroom. Some will practice their multiplication and division facts. Some will get help with spelling. Everyone will get to practice for their NY State Math and ELA exam. They won't sit for the tests in the spring and have had very little practice on the computer. The parents will be able to come in to the classroom and see all the ways I am trying to meet the needs of all my learners!
