Our school has started to implement a change in the learning opportunities of our students from whole group learning to small groups. We have excellent coaches that have helped us set up centers, lesson plan, and implement the change. I've noticed a big difference in how my students are learning, and I'm excited to see how much better it can get with your help. Learning centers are an incredible asset to the classroom. We are able to give individualized help to students that need it, and push our higher students with more rigorous work. What I've noticed though, is that we are unable to effectively utilize videos and interactive Chromebook games during this time because most of my students don't have headphones. It is my hope that by having a class set of headphones, we will be able to vary the center activities even more and students will be able to learn on a deeper level.
