As I mentioned earlier, this is one of the most enthusiastic groups of students and they can get a bit noisy at times. Students with noise sensitivity tend to have a difficult time focusing on their work when kids are working collaboratively around them. Noise reduction headphones will help these kids stay engaged in their work and not be distracted by the noise around them. I currently have three pairs of sound reduction headphones in my classroom and the students are always fighting over them. Having more headphones in my classroom would allow kids to continue working collaboratively while others may choose to work independently in a more quiet setting.
