We do not have enough computers in the classroom to utilize individualized learning on the computer. Having these Chromebooks will allow my class to have access to many learning opportunities that they otherwise would not be able to have. For example, in our classroom we use a computer-based program, Lexia, to help struggling students become better readers. I believe having these Chromebooks will help build my students' education. It will also allow students to do research for projects. They will be able to research things that interest them and share with the class. Individualized learning will be a high priority if we are able to receive these chromebooks.
