In today's classroom, it is almost impossible to teach without introducing technology. We have an incredibly supportive administration who strongly believe in using art as a core subject that every student should have. Unfortunately, we are limited to budget restrictions and often have to make due with what we have. I am excited to introduce digital media to my students and utilize the technology we have available, however, it will only stay on a computer if we don't have a means to print it and show it off! A color printer/photocopier is an essential part of the art classroom today! We need to bring the traditional art class up to speed and teach our children that they are not limited. I want my students to learn that they are able to love art and can even make a career out of it, if they have the tools to practice! From using the printer to enlarge selfies to add to a project to creating advertisements using only digital art, this printer/photocopier and additional ink will bring our class work to a whole new level!
