My students are assigned different projects like adjective scavenger hunts, taking pictures of everyday objects from an interesting angle and A-Z project. They would love to each have a camera to experiment with but unfortunately I only have 8. They have to be in groups of 3 and they always argue about who gets to take the pictures. Throughout this semester I have seen some wonderful photographs taken by my students. They manage to make an ordinary object look amazing. They also learn to edit the photos on Pixlr, a free online editing website. They even put themselves in a photo with a celebrity of their choice. I love to see how engaged my students are and how excited they get to have a class with some freedom and actually have fun.
