We are a 1:1 school and all students are loaned Chromebooks for daily use. Students are each responsible for their own devices and are expected to purchase carrying cases. However, many of my students' families do not have the extra money to do so. We have been working remotely for most of the year, but now most of my students are back in the building daily. Now there is a much higher risk of dropping and damaging their devices since they are carrying them to and from school. Replacing a damaged Chromebook would be a major expense most of my students would not be able to afford. Funding this project would allow them the peace of mind in knowing their devices are protected from accidental damage.
