Self-regulation tools such as pop-its, stress balls, bubble timers, etc. will be available in learning environments throughout the school so that if students need to use them, they will have easy access to them. Students use a self-regulation program called The Zones of Regulation to help identify how they are feeling, why they are feeling that way and which self-regulation strategy to use to depending on how they are feeling. Self-regulation tools can be offered to students who seem as though they may benefit from using one or they can be requested by students who feel that they need to use a self-regulation tool.
