The content of our World History class provides a wide survey of the history of social, political and economic development of the world; however, it is very difficult for my students, with a variety of significant academic and social needs, to organize the material in a way that allows them to connect with the material on a personal or globalized way. By donating to this project, you will provide my students with direct access to appropriate current events published by Scholastic Magazines. The New York Times will allow them to organize and connect the material discussed in class to the world around them. Not only will you provide my students with the opportunity to learn about the world around them, but you will also help foster an environment that helps each student develop into informed and active future leaders of the world. By donating to this project, you will provide my students with the opportunity to develop crucial skills of synthesis, evaluation and analysis of current events.
