My project is to grow my students' love for reading through building my classroom library. I chose books that will enhance my students' reading, comprehension, and vocabulary skills. Each book was chosen to tie into the season and the skills taught throughout the year. I want my students to be able to touch and experience the stories. In order to do this, we need your help! Stories like Crankenstein and Turk & Runt are engaging stories that allow students to practice their comprehension skills through summarizing, identifying key details, and inferring. I know my students will love interacting with these stories!
