I'm building my classroom library this year. I rotate books on a weekly basis, making it so important to have a variety of quality books. My wish is to provide my students with a literacy rich environment where books are treasured and valued. New books in my classroom will supplement our literacy based curriculum and allow my students the freedom to choose through a variety of books for pleasure reading. I use books in each of the learning centers in our classroom to ensure students are exposed to as much literacy as possible. I choose interesting vocabulary from our books for students to practice writing and add to our classroom word wall. Access to literacy along with modeling how to use and care for books is an essential part of Pre-K. Thank you for supporting our classroom and my efforts to provide students with the best Pre-K experience possible!
