My school is a high poverty school in a very affluent district. People get the idea that if you are a San Ramon school, you are wealthy but this is not true. Our students come from a diverse economic and cultural setting. There is inequity in our district in terms of what classroom supplies our students have compared to others in the same district. Eventually all of our students will mingle with the students who have always had access to computers, bound composition books, and rich reading and writing materials.
