This trackpad will help us make our whiteboard interactive. Currently, when I am using my projector, laptop and whiteboard together to project something from the internet or from our online curriculum I have to stop talking and walk back to the laptop to move or change the screen. With a hearing class this is normal and I could continue to talk. However, because of the population in my class I have to communicate at all times with my hands. If my back is to the class they cannot see/hear what I am teaching. I find myself stopping often to change the screen to accommodate our learning and make sure the students understand what we are learning. I am requesting a trackpad to make my lessons more interactive, not only for myself, but for my students as well. This will allow me to move from screen to screen without having to walk away from the whiteboard! WE love technology, but need some extra support to make the magic happen.
