My students are in need of yoga mats, wobble chairs, and boogie boards to enhance their engagement and success in the classroom. The yoga mats will allow students to make a defined area around the classroom where they can accomplish the task at hand. The wobble chairs will be available for students to use when they come to small group instruction, but also be available for all students to use throughout the day for greater success and focus. The boogie boards will be used in any subject area for students to respond to questions, write or draw an answer, or work out math problems. The possibilities are endless with the boogie boards in the classroom. My students are most actively engaged and successful when they are given choice within my classroom. Whether it's a choice of where they can sit or what they can sit on, or that they can use a different mode of answering a question, I can see greater success and engagement happening in my classroom if these tools are provided. Thank you for helping me meet the needs of the students in my classroom!
