My students lack confidence in reading. They are at risk, struggle with language processing, and have missed opportunities in their young lives. When given the right support and tools, they will begin to soar! With flexible seating options like floor cushions, lap trays, couches, and work stands, my students can personalize their learning environment. Students can lay on the floor and read leveled text. They can sit in small groups on the couch and carpet to discuss their thinking. They can work on lap desks and trays with magnetic letters to build words. With different ways to work, my students will all have the advantages they need to grow in their literacy skills.

About my class
