An electric pencil sharpener seems like a small gift, but it makes a huge difference in the classroom. Students no longer have to beg others for a pencil after they failed to sharpen their own manually due to old, inefficient equipment. So much time is wasted on trying to get pencils sharpened to the point that many students cannot begin work until minutes after the activity began. Copy paper is important for our assignments. I use it to print out original copies in order to use the copier. Students use it to print out their work. We also can use it for activities like brochures, posters, and foldables. As the county's copy budget significantly decreases, so does the availability of common copy paper in the classroom.
