Everyone knows that no two people are exactly the same. Well, in a classroom the same idea applies. No two students are the same. Some students want to sit, some stand, some just cannot get comfortable in the hard, one piece desk our 5th grade classroom currently has. My goal for this project is to be able to give my students the opportunities to be comfortable in their seat. I want them to be able to focus on reading and not worry about the hard chair they're in or if they're blocking someone's view. Comfort makes things easier. If these children can find comfort in their classroom I believe they could spend more time and energy focusing on the curriculum, which is why I chose a variety of seating choices. From balance ball chairs, to laptop desks, to bouncy bands, and stools. These students have the option they need to sit comfortably.
