I teach a 2/3 combination class at a wonderful elementary school in the Bay Area. Our school district values constructivist teaching and our teachers build a lot of their own curriculum. As we transition to new science and social studies standards, materials and field trips put quite a demand on us financially. My focus this year is to seek support in science-based field trips and social studies projects.
