Many of my tools are reading materials. It is important that students are able to read and comprehend the text in order to interact with the world around them. By using games and fun tools, I am showing my students that learning, reading, and the world around them can be fun and exciting. It was Margaret Fuller who said "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader." These tools will help my scholars learn individual reading standards in order to build their knowledge on how to read longer texts and documents. These literacy games will be used in small, guides reading stations which will allow them the opportunity to get individualized and structured instruction in the context of a fun and engaging game.
