I have heard of several teachers offering flexible seating within their classrooms, and I am excited to try it, too. By offering my students some options in their seating, it will also help them be more engaged in their learning. We all know the chairs students sit in all day are extremely uncomfortable. With a classroom full of several little bodies, it is extremely difficult to get them up and moving as often as they need. These wobble chairs will help the students get their wiggles out, which also helps them focus. I am excited to start small and see if these change a day in a second grade classroom.
