The students will explore putting a sensor: thermal imaging, heat, and or infrared within the gun to read the temperature of a human being. With the information, the weapon will then not fire when the human is sensed. Discussion with gun manufacturers and sportsmen will take place to learn the inner workings of guns. The students will work with thermistors and 3D printing. Again, a device within the gun will measure the temperature of human bodies, and with the temperature, the gun would not be able to be fired. S cience (body temperatures of humans and major "kill" animals) T echnology (the construction & workings of a gun, including force, and sensors) E ngineering (development & installation of sensors) M ath (equations for firing & for heat emission)
