The Hand2Mind Daily Math Fluency kit will empower us to develop our students' foundational math skills each and every day. Their confidence will increase tremendously and set the stage for future success in math and beyond. Current research supports that students need to be flexible, efficient and strategic in their ability to think about math. Procedural fluency is the ability to carry out mathematical procedures flexibly, accurately, efficiently and appropriately (supported by the National Research Council, 2001). Learning with understanding is essential to enable students to solve the new kinds of problems they will inevitability face in the future. Thank you!
