My class is diverse, sweet, and eager to learn. I have 11 students whose native language is Vietnamese, a language I was not the least bit familiar with until this year. I am constantly looking for fun, engaging activities that can help build up their English vocabulary as well as keep them on-level. Listening centers are a great tool that keep the students engaged in a high-quality literacy experience that goes beyond language barriers.
