The purchase of these ukuleles will allow each student the chance to play their own instrument. Currently, the students are sharing ukuleles which doubles my instruction time and limits the amount of hands-on experience each student receives. If students were able to use their own ukulele, my instruction time would be cut in half. The individual instruments would allow students to develop better skills during the unit. It would also increase the pacing of the unit, allowing students to stay engaged the entire class period. These ukuleles will be used by over 100 of our students. All students need the opportunity to immerse themselves in the arts.
