Students are needing to learn new units of team sports and recreational activities that will help them to be active during their lives. Currently there is not enough equipment for some of our current units and additional units to support team sports and recreational units. Students are eager to learn new activities that will help them to be healthy and active for life. The students are open minded to try new activities, because they never know what might be of interest to them. A good example of this would be recreational game of ultimate frisbee that students are showing interest in. There is a small ultimate frisbee club at school that students participate in, but we currently do not have equipment to teach more students about this game, because of the missing equipment. This request of equipment (disc, and cones) would allow more students to get involved and be active.
