By giving these items to my kids you will be allowing them more learning opportunities during centers. These few item will allow for a magnetic center, writing center and a science center. The easel would allow my students to see good writing habits. While modeling capitalization and punctuation we will discuss the different letters and their sounds. The magnetic board will allow them to match letters and words during play with peers. Thus, helping with letter recognition and early literacy skills. The science viewers will give students prior knowledge of plants and animals before entering kindergarten. The science viewers will also help improve fine motor skills.
