Fluency is so much more than memorizing facts, it's also about being able to be FLEXIBLE with your facts. It is difficult at times to help my students be fluent with all of their math facts and stay away from the "Drill and Kill" that would be to keep doing. I want them to be able to KNOW their facts, not just memorize them for a timed test and then forget them. The Daily Math Fluency Kit will help me be able to teach my students a variety of ways to look at numbers to help them become more flexible with their facts. Each day they will be doing an activity that will help them understand how numbers work, but more importantly how numbers work together! They will truly understand the meaning behind addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
