My eager second grade students come from various backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. In addition, each student has differing learning styles and needs. These differences in my students make each one unique and special. However, one thing remains the same with all of them. Each has enthusiasm about learning! My energetic second graders love to explore, be curious, and share what they know and learn. In my classroom they are reading about the world around them, communicating in various modes of writing, and are enhancing their mathematical skills. They want to learn about science concepts and explore the world around them. They thrive with technology and enjoy using it. The are bountiful in energy, and enjoy being artistic. My students are becoming independent learners and thinkers. My students are learning lifelong skills in academics and in social skills that will enable them to have success in the future.
