The students will have the opportunity to relax in an cozy reading corner. My students like to sit around the room while reading or researching and a carpet will give them a soft place to sit. The students will learn how to be innovators and have the opportunity to recreate an invention they create using wooden sticks and glue. With the remaining glue they will have the opportunity practice measurement and chemical reactions while creating their favorite thing, slime. Their other favorite thing is having a snack and receive treats or rewards. The student will have the opportunity to earn a paycheck each week and use the money to purchase snack items. While learning science my students will also learn some personal finance and money sense. As they learn, with the dry erase boards and markers they will have the opportunity to write down and display their answers, thoughts, and views.
