The materials from Kaplan will make a difference in my students' learning by enhancing their STEM and STEAM knowledge. Students will be learning how to create 3D art with gears and IO blocks building new projects each time with the materials. Our STEAM projects will require my students to systematically think through problems, applying the information they learn along the way about technology and engineering to figure out the best solutions for their work. My students will work together as a team in building skills need for kindergarten. Together, their knowledge, enthusiasm, and skill-sets can be utilized to help successfully complete the project as a team. The students will create sculptures, problem solving skills with gears and build families with many different cultures.
