We as educators and our community members expect high academic achievement from our students, however when a child is struggling with sensory processing disorders, autism, adhd, etc., it is very challenging to meet those high expectations. It is up to us to assist these students in their sensory processing journey! By providing them with a sensory area, we will allow them to meet their sensory needs before conquering their academic goals. Utilizing the mini trampoline, compression vest, textured squares, lego blocks, and the many other items will give the students the sensory input they need to focus on what's important.

About my class
