Our students come to us after having spent most of their school careers receiving special services, which in some cases has taught dependence rather than independence. We are now tasked with teaching functional academic, employment and daily living skills needed to mold successful, independent adults. Being able to provide a fully equipped kitchen to teach LIFE SKILLS to our students will be carried over to the real world to promote independence. Our students will be able to learn the process of meal preparation along with building healthy nutritional habits. They learn and grow through personal achievements as well as mistakes.

About my class
