These cushions will enhance the welcoming and comfortable space I wish to create in my classroom. Even with the small group setting, there are times I need to work with students one on one. Other students find spaces to read around the room on the floor. Providing floor cushions will give students a place to be comfortable and read quietly. The cushions can be easily moved to different spots in the room. Then, students would be able to read quietly and stay engaged longer while I work with others. My students are motivated to become independent readers, and this project will help enrich the learning environment.
