These interactive solar system models would allow my students to become familiar with the planets in our solar system, to learn their order & conditions, and allow them to make inferences on whether other planets could potentially support life. The models will not only allow students to "see" the planets, but to interact with them in their orbits. We will explore and learn about our near Earth rocky neighbors and the HUGE gas giants further away. All the while exploring other planets (or moons) for habitation. This will incorporate well into our Mars Exploration project where teams of students will research and present the variable nuances with living off the Earth.
