The items that have been chosen will help my students during stations, where they take what they have learned in teacher-directed lessons and apply it in a variety of ways. Some students work with each other to practice spelling and phonics using wipe off boards and markers. Others use magnetic letters and boards to build their spelling and vocabulary words. The fractured fairy tales will enhance our lessons in reading. I chose the pencils grips, because so many of the students come to me with illegible handwriting. I have had success with pencil grippers in the past and look forward to using them with this group of students. I know that the students will be eager to receive and use their new supplies. They are a great group of kids, with a desire to learn and excel in their studies. Thank you for your generosity to my students.
